Morning Departure from Marrakech
Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Most tours depart between 8:00 and 8:30 AM.
How the morning unfolds:
Leaving the city behind, the landscape quickly becomes more rural and peaceful. The drive takes you through traditional villages.
After approximately 50 minutes you arrive at the Ourika Waterfalls.
Exploring the Waterfalls
Setti Fatma is a mountain village at the end of the Ourika Valley and the starting point for the walk to the waterfalls. With the help of a local guide, you can enjoy a short hike to reach the first waterfall.
The walk includes uneven paths and some rocky areas, so comfortable shoes are recommended. The hike can be adapted depending on your fitness level and the weather conditions.
Wildlife and Lunch with a view
After the walk, you can relax and enjoy lunch in a local riverside restaurant.
Lunch is usually not included in the tour price, so you can choose the restaurant and meal that best suits your preferences.
Restaurants are located on terraces overlooking the river, offering incredible views while you eat. Typical dishes include:
- Moroccan tajine
- grilled meats
- fresh salads
- mint tea
Afternoon Return to Marrakech
The drive follows the same scenic route. As the sun lowers, the countryside takes on warm tones, creating a relaxing end to the day.
Arrival in Marrakech is usually around 6:30 – 7:00 PM.
