Morning Departure from Marrakech

Your day begins in Marrakech with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or riad. Most tours depart between 8:00 and 8:30 in the morning.

Along the way, there are short stops where you can stretch your legs or enjoy the scenery.

After about 2.5 to 3 hours of driving, you arrive at the beautiful Ouzoud Waterfalls.

Arrival at the Waterfalls

Once you arrive, you will begin exploring the area with your guide or at your own pace. A pleasant walking trail leads down toward the base of the waterfalls, offering incredible views along the way. The sound of the water grows stronger as you approach the bottom of the valley, where the cascades create a refreshing atmosphere.

What you will see:

• the impressive waterfalls dropping more than 110 meters
• panoramic viewpoints overlooking the valley
• olive groves and small traditional mills
• wild Barbary monkeys living in the surrounding trees

Near the bottom of the waterfalls, visitors have the option to take a short boat ride close to the cascades.

Lunch with a View

After exploring the waterfalls, you will have time to relax and enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants overlooking the valley.

Many restaurants offer terraces with stunning views of the waterfalls. Typical dishes include:

• Moroccan tajine
• grilled meats
• fresh salads
• traditional mint tea

This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding nature.

Afternoon Return to Marrakech

After lunch and some free time to explore or take photos, the group begins the journey back to Marrakech.

The drive back follows the same scenic countryside route. Most tours arrive in Marrakech in the early evening, usually around 6:30 to 7:00 PM.

You will be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
