Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Taznakht – Ouarzazate

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up in Agadir as we head inland toward the town of Taroudant, often called the “Little Marrakech” because of its impressive red walls and lively markets.
We continue through the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Taliouine, famous for producing some of the finest saffron in Morocco, before reaching Ouarzazate.
The landscapes change gradually from coastal plains to mountain roads and desert valleys. Along the way you’ll pass traditional villages and wide open landscapes that reveal the slower rhythm of rural Moroccan life.

Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura Oasis – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

Approx. driving time 2-3 hours

After breakfast we visit the famous fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic historical sites and a UNESCO World Heritage location.
Walking through Ait Ben Haddou feels like stepping into the past. The ancient earthen buildings and narrow alleys tell stories of old caravan routes that once crossed the Sahara. Later we travel through the Skoura palm oasis and the Rose Valley, where traditional villages are surrounded by beautiful landscapes before reaching the scenic Dades Valley.

Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

Approx. driving time 4-5 hours

After breakfast we continue toward the spectacular Todra Gorge.
Todra Gorge is one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites, with towering cliffs that rise dramatically above the valley. After a walk through the canyon we continue toward the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon we reach Merzouga where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. A camel trek takes you across the dunes while the sun sets over the desert. The evening is spent in a desert camp with dinner and traditional music beneath the stars.

Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – Desert landscapes

We wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga village for breakfast.
Today is dedicated to exploring the Sahara region. You’ll visit nomadic families who still live in traditional desert tents and learn about their daily life. In Khamlia village you’ll experience traditional Gnawa music performed by local musicians. The afternoon is relaxed, allowing time to enjoy the quiet beauty of the desert.

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane

Approx. driving time 6-7 hours

After breakfast we leave the desert and travel north through the beautiful Ziz Valley, known for its vast palm groves and impressive canyon landscapes.
The scenery gradually changes as we travel from desert landscapes to mountain forests. In the cedar forests near Azrou you may see wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Later we stop in the town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine architecture and clean mountain environment.

Overnight in Ifrane or Midelt.

Ifrane – Middle Atlas Mountains – Fes

Approx. driving time 1 hour

After breakfast we continue the short journey to Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic and culturally rich cities.
Today’s drive is relaxed, allowing you to enjoy the mountain scenery before arriving in Fes around midday. Upon arrival you can begin exploring the ancient medina, famous for its maze of narrow streets, traditional workshops, and vibrant markets.
