Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Agadir – Airport Pick-up and City Tour
Upon arrival at Agadir Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation. After some time to rest and recover from your flight, you will begin exploring Agadir.
The tour may include the hilltop Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, offering panoramic views over the city and coastline, followed by a visit to the lively Souk El Had and a relaxing walk along the seafront promenade and marina.
At the end of the tour, you will return to your accommodation for an overnight stay in Agadir.

Day 2
Agadir – Taliouine – Taznakht – Aït Ben Haddou – Atlas Studios – Ouarzazate
Approx. driving time 6 hours
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up in Agadir, travelling through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop in Taliouine, famous for its saffron, and Taznakht, known for its traditional Berber carpets.
Continue to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village where you can explore its earthen architecture, narrow alleys and panoramic viewpoints.
Afterwards, visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios near Ouarzazate and discover sets used in international film and television productions.
Arrival in Ouarzazate is expected in the late afternoon or early evening.
Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 3
Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 6 hours
After an early breakfast, depart from Ouarzazate and travel through the beautiful Rose Valley and the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley.
Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where you can enjoy a short walk beneath the towering canyon walls. Afterwards, travel through Tinjdad and Erfoud towards Merzouga.
In the late afternoon, reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a camel trek at sunset. The evening will be spent at a desert camp with dinner and traditional music beneath the stars.
Overnight in Sahara desert camp.

Day 4
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – Desert landscapes
We wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga village for breakfast.
Today is dedicated to exploring the Sahara region. You’ll visit nomadic families who still live in traditional desert tents and learn about their daily life. In Khamlia village you’ll experience traditional Gnawa music performed by local musicians. The afternoon is relaxed, allowing time to enjoy the quiet beauty of the desert.
Overnight in a hotel or riad near the dunes.

Day 5
Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast, leave the Sahara Desert and travel to Erfoud, known as Morocco’s capital of dates and fossils. Here, you can visit a local fossil workshop and learn about the region’s rich geological heritage.
Continue north through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves, traditional villages and impressive canyon landscapes. Along the way, enjoy panoramic stops before travelling through the changing scenery of the High Atlas Mountains towards Midelt.
Arrival in Midelt is expected in the afternoon, with time to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Overnight in Midelt.

Day 6
Midelts – Middle Atlas Mountains – Cedar forest – Ifrane – Fes
Approx. driving time 4 hour
After breakfast, depart from Midelt and travel north through the scenic landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop near Azrou to explore the cedar forests, where you may see wild Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.
Continue to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine-style architecture and peaceful mountain setting. Afterwards, travel to Fes, arriving in the afternoon with time to settle into your accommodation.
Overnight in Fes.

Day 7
Exploration in Fes – Transfer to the airport
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin with a panoramic visit to the Royal Palace, the historic Mellah and a viewpoint overlooking the medina.
Continue into Fes el-Bali, the UNESCO-listed old city, and explore its narrow streets, traditional souks and artisan workshops. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine, the Nejjarine Fountain and the famous Chouara Tanneries.
After lunch in the medina, continue exploring before transferring to Fes Airport for your departure flight.
