Your journey begins with a morning pick-up in Agadir, travelling through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop in Taliouine, famous for its saffron, and Taznakht, known for its traditional Berber carpets.
Continue to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village where you can explore its earthen architecture, narrow alleys and panoramic viewpoints.
Afterwards, visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios near Ouarzazate and discover sets used in international film and television productions.
Then you will pass through Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” before continuing along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards the Dades Valley. As the route progresses from coastal plains to mountain roads and desert valleys, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic, culminating in the Dades Valley’s striking rock formations and picturesque villages.
Overnight in a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi dunes
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast we continue our journey through southern Morocco, heading toward the spectacular Todra Gorge.
The Todra Canyon is one of the most impressive natural sites in the country, with towering cliffs that rise dramatically above a narrow valley.
After visiting the gorge we continue toward Erfoud, a desert town known for its fossil workshops and as a gateway to the Sahara.
The scenery becomes increasingly desert-like as we approach Merzouga. In the late afternoon we arrive at the edge of the Sahara where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise from the sand. Here you will begin a camel trek into the desert while the sun sets over the dunes. At the camp you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by music around the fire under a sky full of stars.
Overnight in a Sahara desert camp.

Day 3
Merzouga – Alnif – Draa Valley – Taznakht – Agadir
Approx. driving time 9 hours
We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful and unforgettable moment in the desert. After breakfast at the camp we return to Merzouga village by camel or 4×4.
We then begin the journey back toward Agadir, traveling through the vast landscapes of southern Morocco and the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbah villages.
The long drive is filled with changing landscapes and occasional stops in small towns and viewpoints. By the evening we arrive back in Agadir, bringing this unforgettable Sahara adventure to an end.
