Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Approx. driving time 3-4 hours
Your journey begins with a pick-up in Casablanca. Our first stop is Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, where we visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
We then continue toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, known for its impressive gates and historic architecture.

Day 2
Full-day exploration of Fes
After breakfast we explore the ancient city of Fes with a local guide. Fes is famous for its medieval medina, one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. You will visit Al Quaraouiyine University, the famous tanneries, and the artisan quarters where traditional crafts are still produced. Walking through the narrow streets feels like stepping back in time.

Day 3
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 7 hours
After breakfast we travel south across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in the town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine architecture. In the cedar forests near Azrou you may see wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Continuing through the Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves, we eventually reach the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon you will ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi while the sun sets over the desert.

Day 4
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast we visit the traditional desert town of Rissani, famous for its markets and history. We then continue toward Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise dramatically above the valley. After a walk through the gorge we travel to the scenic Dades Valley.

Day 3
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 7 hours
After breakfast we travel south across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in the town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine architecture. Day 5
Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Approx. driving time 6 hours
After breakfast we travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate. We visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic sites and a UNESCO World Heritage location. Later we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 6
Marrakech city tour
After breakfast we explore Marrakech with a local guide. You will visit the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the lively souks of the medina. The tour also includes time in Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, famous for its street performers, storytellers, and food stalls. The tour ends in the afternoon.
