Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi dunes
Approx. driving time 5-6 hours
Your journey begins with a pick-up in Errachidia as we travel south through the spectacular Ziz Valley. The valley is famous for its vast palm groves and traditional mud-brick villages that line the oasis.
We continue toward Erfoud, a small desert town known for its fossil workshops and gateway to the Sahara. By the afternoon we arrive in Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise dramatically from the desert landscape.
In the late afternoon you will ride camels across the dunes while the sun sets over the Sahara. The peaceful silence of the desert and the warm colors of the sand create a magical atmosphere. After reaching the camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by Berber music under a sky filled with stars.

Day 2
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – Desert landscapes – Merzouga
We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to the village for breakfast. Afterward we explore the surrounding desert region by 4×4.
Today is dedicated to discovering the culture and lifestyle of the Sahara. You will visit nomadic families living in traditional tents and learn about their way of life in the desert. In the village of Khamlia, you’ll experience traditional Gnawa music performed by local musicians. Later, you’ll explore wide desert plains and hidden villages before returning to Merzouga for a relaxing evening.

Day 3
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast we leave the desert and head toward Rissani, a traditional desert town known for its lively markets and historical importance.
We continue toward Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural canyons, where massive cliffs rise dramatically above a narrow valley.
The market in Rissani offers a glimpse into authentic Moroccan life, while the walk through Todra Gorge is both refreshing and impressive. In the afternoon we drive through beautiful mountain landscapes before reaching the peaceful Dades Valley.

Day 4
Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Approx. driving time 6 hours
After breakfast we travel through the scenic Rose Valley and the palm oasis of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate.
Later we visit the famous fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs. Walking through Ait Ben Haddou feels like stepping into a movie set, as many international films were shot here. In the afternoon we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 5
Guided Tour of Marrakech
Today we explore the famous Red City with a local guide. Marrakech is vibrant, colorful, and full of life. You’ll visit historical sites such as Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Saadian Tombs. We then explore the lively souks of the medina before ending the day in Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where storytellers, musicians, and food stalls create a unique atmosphere.

Day 6
Marrakech – Rabat
Approx. driving time 3-4 hours
After breakfast we travel north toward Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital city located on the Atlantic coast.
The pace today is relaxed as we travel through central Morocco toward the coast. In Rabat we visit highlights such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The city offers a calm and refined atmosphere compared to the energy of Marrakech.

Day 7
Rabat – Casablanca Airport
Approx. driving time 1 hour
After breakfast we return to Casablanca for your departure.
This final day is relaxed. It marks the end of a journey that has taken you from the Sahara Desert to the Atlantic Ocean while discovering Morocco’s landscapes, culture, and history.
