Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Sightseeing in Fes
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin with a panoramic visit to the Royal Palace, the historic Mellah and a viewpoint overlooking the medina.
Continue into Fes el-Bali, the UNESCO-listed old city, and explore its narrow streets, traditional souks and artisan workshops. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, University of Al Quaraouiyine, the Nejjarine Fountain and the famous Chouara Tanneries.
After lunch in the medina, we will take you back to your accomdation.

Day 2
Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Midelt
Approx. driving time: 4 hours
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes and begin the journey through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its Alpine-style architecture, peaceful parks, and clean streets. Continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where you can walk among the ancient trees and may see the native Barbary macaques. The journey then passes through mountain landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and open countryside before arriving in Midelt, located between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.

Day 3
Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 4 hours
After breakfast we travel south toward the Sahara Desert. The landscapes change dramatically as we descend through the spectacular Ziz Valley filled with palm groves. By the afternoon we arrive in Merzouga where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. You will ride camels into the desert at sunset before arriving at the camp where dinner and Berber music await.

Day 4
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying breakfast at the desert camp, your private driver will pick up you and crossing the dunes back to Merzouga, where you can refresh before continuing the journey. Our first stop will be Rissani, home to one of the oldest and most traditional souks (markets) in Morocco, where locals trade spices, livestock, and handicrafts. From there, we travel through Tinjdad on the way to the spectacular Todra Gorges, famous for their towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters high. Here, you will have time to walk along the gorge and enjoy the stunning natural scenery.

Day 5
Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Approx. driving time 6 hours
After breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley and travel through the beautiful Rose Valley, known for its traditional villages and locally made rose products.
We continue to Ouarzazate to visit the famous Atlas Film Studios, where many international productions have been filmed. From there, we head to Ait Ben Haddou to explore its ancient mud-brick kasbah and narrow alleys. The journey continues across the High Atlas Mountains and through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, located 2,260 metres above sea level. Enjoy panoramic views and Berber villages before descending toward the warmer landscapes and vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech.

Day 6
Sightseeing in Marrakech
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a full exploration of Marrakech. Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, known for its decorated courtyards, colourful tiles, and traditional Moroccan architecture. Continue to the historic Saadian Tombs and admire the impressive Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s most famous landmark.
The tour then continues through the narrow streets of the medina, where you will explore the lively souks, artisan workshops, spice stalls, and traditional markets. You may also visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of Marrakech’s finest examples of Islamic architecture. Day 7
Transfer to the airport in Marrakech
After breakfast, at the agreed time, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to the airport. We will make sure you arrive with enough time to check in before your departure. This marks the end of the tour and our services. We hope you leave Morocco with wonderful memories and wish you a safe journey home.
