Upon arrival, you will begin exploring the historic medina of Essaouira. The medina of Essaouira is much smaller and calmer than the medina of Marrakech, making it perfect for relaxed exploration. Walking through the streets you will notice the strong Portuguese influence in the architecture and the charming blue-and-white buildings that give the town its distinctive character.
