Day 1
Arrival in Marrakech
Your journey begins with arrival in Marrakech. After meeting your driver at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel or riad. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the nearby streets of the medina or relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Marrakech city tour
After breakfast, meet your local guide and begin a full exploration of Marrakech. Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, known for its decorated courtyards, colourful tiles, and traditional Moroccan architecture. Continue to the historic Saadian Tombs and admire the impressive Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s most famous landmark. The tour then continues through the narrow streets of the medina, where you will explore the lively souks, artisan workshops, spice stalls, and traditional markets. You may also visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of Marrakech’s finest examples of Islamic architecture. Day 3
Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 6 hours
After breakfast we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs through winding mountain passes and traditional Berber villages. We visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic historical sites. Continuing through Ouarzazate and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we arrive in the scenic Dades Valley.

Day 4
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast, leave the Dades Valley and travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls rise dramatically above the palm-filled valley. Enjoy time to walk through the gorge and admire its impressive natural scenery. Continue through Tinjdad before reaching Erfoud, known as Morocco’s capital of dates and fossils. The journey then leads to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes while watching the sunset. Dinner and traditional music will be served at the desert camp under the stars.

Day 5
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – desert landscapes
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Today we explore the Sahara region around Merzouga. You will visit nomadic families and the village of Khamlia, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. The afternoon is relaxed, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the desert.

Day 6
Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Approx. driving time 5-6 hours
Wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi.After breakfast at the desert camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 and begin the journey through the vast landscapes of southern Morocco. Visit Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and ancient caravan routes.Continue through Alnif, surrounded by rocky desert scenery and dramatic mountain formations. The journey then leads through the magnificent Draa Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves, traditional villages, and ancient mud-brick kasbahs.
Arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon and settle into your accommodation.

Day 7
Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Essaouira
Approx. driving time: 6–7 hours
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and begin the scenic journey across the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of mountain valleys, winding roads, and traditional Berber villages along the way. Continue past Marrakech and travel west through changing landscapes toward the Atlantic coast. In the afternoon, arrive in Essaouira, where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this charming coastal town and take a first walk through its historic medina. Free Day in Essaouira
After breakfast, enjoy a full free day to discover Essaouira at your own pace. Wander through the charming medina, explore its colourful souks and artisan shops, and visit the historic ramparts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can also stroll around the traditional fishing port, relax in one of the seaside cafés, or spend some time on Essaouira Beach. The relaxed atmosphere makes this the perfect day to slow down and enjoy the coastal side of Morocco.

Day 9
Essaouira – Marrakech
Approx. driving time: 3 hours
After breakfast, leave Essaouira and travel toward Marrakech. Along the way, stop at a traditional argan oil cooperative, where you can learn about the production process and discover local argan products. Continue through the scenic countryside before arriving in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.

Day 10
Marrakech – Airport Transfer
After breakfast, at the agreed time, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to Marrakech Airport, ensuring you arrive with enough time for check-in before your departure.
