Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 2-3 hours
Your journey begins with a pick-up in Ouarzazate. We travel through the Skoura palm oasis, famous for its traditional kasbahs surrounded by palm groves.
Today is a relaxed introduction to southern Morocco. The landscapes are filled with palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and small Berber villages. Continuing along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we pass through the beautiful Rose Valley before arriving in the dramatic scenery of the Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast we continue toward the impressive Todra Gorge.
You will have time to walk through the narrow canyon and admire the towering cliffs rising high above the valley. Later we travel through desert towns until the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. In the afternoon you will ride camels into the desert while the sun sets over the dunes. The evening is spent in a traditional desert camp with dinner and Berber music under the stars.

Day 3
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – desert land
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. Today we explore the desert region around Merzouga. You will visit nomadic families and learn about their lifestyle in the Sahara. In Khamlia village you will enjoy traditional Gnawa music. The afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.

Day 4
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane
Approx. driving time 6-7 hours
After breakfast we leave the desert and travel north through the spectacular Ziz Valley.
The landscapes gradually change from desert scenery to green mountain forests. In the cedar forests near Azrou you may see wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Later we stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine architecture.

Day 5
Ifrane – Middle Atlas Mountains – Fes
Approx. driving time 1 hour
After breakfast we continue the short journey to Fes. Upon arrival in Fes you can relax at your riad or take a short walk through the nearby streets of the ancient medina.

Day 6
Full-day exploration of Fes
Today we explore one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities with a local guide. You will visit the historic medina, the famous tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University, and the artisan quarters where traditional crafts are still produced by hand.

Day 7
Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
Approx. driving time 3-4 hours
After breakfast we travel through the Rif Mountains toward the famous blue city. Chefchaouen is one of the most charming towns in Morocco. Its blue-painted streets and relaxed atmosphere make it a perfect place to wander, take photos, and enjoy the mountain scenery.

Day 8
Chefchaouen – Rabat
Approx. driving time 4 hours
After breakfast we travel toward Morocco’s capital city. Rabat offers a peaceful coastal atmosphere and beautiful historical monuments. You will visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Overnight in Rabat.

Day 9
Rabat – Casablanca
Approx. driving time 1 hour
After breakfast we travel along the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. In Casablanca we visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, built partly over the ocean. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the city or relax.

Day 10
Casablanca – Airport transfer
After breakfast we transfer you to the airport or your hotel. This final day is relaxed and flexible depending on your departure schedule. It marks the end of an unforgettable journey through Morocco’s deserts, mountains, and historic cities.
