Day 1
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 2-3 hours
Your journey begins with a pick-up in Ouarzazate. We travel east through the Skoura oasis, famous for its palm groves and historic kasbahs hidden among the trees. Continuing along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we pass through the beautiful Rose Valley, known for its rose fields and traditional Berber villages.
Today is a relaxed introduction to southern Morocco. The landscapes are filled with palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and quiet villages surrounded by mountains. The scenic drive offers several photo stops before arriving in the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and beautiful scenery.
Overnight in a hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast we continue toward the impressive Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural canyons. You will have time to walk through the gorge and admire the towering cliffs rising high above the valley. Later we travel through desert towns such as Tinjdad and Erfoud before reaching the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon we arrive in Merzouga where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. A camel trek takes you into the dunes while the sun sets over the desert. The evening is spent in a traditional desert camp with dinner and Berber music under a sky full of stars.

Day 3
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – desert landscapes
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, one of the most peaceful moments in the Sahara. After breakfast we explore the desert region around Merzouga.
How the day unfolds:
Today you will discover the culture and lifestyle of the Sahara. We visit nomadic families who live in traditional desert tents and learn about their daily life. In the village of Khamlia you will experience traditional Gnawa music performed by local musicians. The afternoon is relaxed, allowing time to enjoy the quiet beauty of the desert and the surrounding dunes.

Day 4
Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Approx. driving time 5-6 hours
After breakfast we leave the desert and head toward the historic town of Rissani, known for its traditional markets and cultural heritage. Today’s drive takes us through vast desert landscapes and the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its endless palm groves and ancient kasbah villages. The valley forms one of the most impressive oasis landscapes in Morocco. After several scenic stops along the way we arrive back in Ouarzazate in the evening.

Day 5
Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
Approx. driving time 3-4 hours
After breakfast we visit the famous fortified village ofAit Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic historical sites and a UNESCO World Heritage location. Walking through Ait Ben Haddou feels like stepping into another century. The ancient mud-brick architecture and narrow alleys reflect the history of caravan routes that once crossed the Sahara. Later we begin the journey across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via theTizi n’Tichka pass. The winding mountain roads offer breathtaking panoramic views before descending toward Marrakech, where the tour ends in the afternoon.
