Day 1
Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Approx. driving time 6 hours
Your journey begins with a morning departure from Marrakech as we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass.
How the day unfolds:
The drive offers breathtaking views of mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages. We stop to explore the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive mud-brick architecture. Continuing through Ouarzazate and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we arrive in the scenic Dades Valley.
Overnight in Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Approx. driving time 4-5 hours
After breakfast we travel toward the spectacular Todra Gorge.
How the day unfolds:
You will have time to walk through the impressive canyon where towering cliffs rise dramatically above the valley. Later we continue through desert towns until the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. In the afternoon you will ride camels across the dunes while the sun sets over the Sahara Desert. The evening includes a traditional Moroccan dinner and Berber music at the desert camp.

Day 3
Merzouga – Nomad families – Khamlia village – desert landscapes
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes.
How the day unfolds:
Today we explore the desert region around Merzouga. You will visit nomadic families who live in traditional desert tents and learn about their way of life. In the village of Khamlia you will experience traditional Gnawa music. The afternoon is relaxed, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the desert.
Overnight in a hotel or riad near the dunes.

Day 4
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Midelt
Approx. driving time 4 hours
After breakfast we leave the desert and travel north through the beautiful Ziz Valley.
How the day unfolds:
The valley is famous for its vast palm groves and impressive canyon landscapes. The journey continues through changing scenery as we move from desert landscapes toward the mountains of the Middle Atlas.
Overnight in Midelt.

Day 5
Midelt – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes
Approx. driving time 3-4 hours
After breakfast we continue the journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
How the day unfolds:
We stop in the cedar forests near Azrou where wild Barbary macaque monkeys can often be seen. Later we visit the town of Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture and clean mountain environment. By the afternoon we arrive in the historic city of Fes.
Overnight in Fes.

Day 6
Fes city tour
After breakfast we explore the ancient city of Fes with a local guide.
How the day unfolds:
The guided tour includes the famous tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University, and the artisan quarters where traditional crafts are still produced. Walking through the ancient medina feels like stepping into another century.
