Your journey begins with a morning departure from Marrakech as we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass.

The drive offers breathtaking views of mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages. We stop to explore the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive mud-brick architecture. Continuing through Ouarzazate e lungo la Strada delle Mille Kasbah, arriviamo nella scenografica Valle Dades.

Giorno 2
Valle del Dades – Gole del Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast we travel toward the spectacular Gole del Todra.

You will have time to walk through the impressive canyon where towering cliffs rise dramatically above the valley. Later we continue through desert towns until the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. In the afternoon you will ride camels across the dunes while the sun sets over the Sahara Desert. The evening includes a traditional Moroccan dinner and Berber music at the desert camp.

Merzouga – Famiglie nomadi – villaggio di Khamlia – paesaggi desertici
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes.

Oggi esploriamo la regione desertica intorno a Merzouga. You will visit nomadic families who live in traditional desert tents and learn about their way of life. In the village of Khamlia you will experience traditional Gnawa music. The afternoon is relaxed, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the desert.

Giorno 4
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Midelt

After breakfast we leave the desert and travel north through the beautiful Valle dello Ziz.

The valley is famous for its vast palm groves and impressive canyon landscapes. The journey continues through changing scenery as we move from desert landscapes toward the mountains of the Middle Atlas.
Overnight in Midelt.
Giorno 5
Midelt – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast we continue the journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

We stop in the cedar forests near Azrou where wild Barbary macaque monkeys can often be seen. Later we visit the town of Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture and clean mountain environment. By the afternoon we arrive in the historic city of Fes.

After breakfast we explore the ancient city of Fes with a local guide.

The guided tour includes the famous tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University, and the artisan quarters where traditional crafts are still produced. Walking through the ancient medina feels like stepping into another century.
